Description: This slender man stands about 4'10". He prefers to wear tan clothing when he does not wear armor. He has wavy brown hair. He has gleaming, smiling green eyes.
Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: Arannis lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. After coming to the age of reason, Arannis took it upon himself to study the necromantic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. After a long history of fighting, Arannis and his spouse have recently divorced.
Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and gnomish compassion

Description: Dark and lean, she is a relatively plain woman. She wears a tan tunic with blue highlights, and long brown pants that bunch up around her shoes. Her hair is blonde and curly. Her ears are large.
Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.
History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and an old rival family wants her found

Description: This man stands a little under 6'10" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He has a large white mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his green robe. He has wavy golden hair. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Shaká was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Shaká decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.
Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Description: She is an average looking northern female in her early mid-life. She wears professional attire. Her brown hair is braided into rings. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: She thrives on attention. She does whatever is in her power to gain the attention of whomever she deems a fit date. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Cecily was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Cecily grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Cecily. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.
Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs

Description: This eastern woman wears clothing that is held on in multiple layers but all of it is in poor condition. Her clothes are grease stained in places. She wears a broad hat to hide her balding. Her gray eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: She has schizophrenia that causes her to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.
History: Bree was born with her mother's beautiful face. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it.
