Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Scribe but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: Tarhun was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Aristocrat, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Aristocrat in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Gnomish companion (his 'brother'). He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was born into a rich family. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He has all his life been fascinated with poetry.

History: Tûkâ lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and retire the richest man in the north
