History: Eva was born with her mother's beautiful face. The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

History: He was born in the east. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and his religion dominates his actions
