History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Direcris liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage son.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Meriele alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

History: She was born in the north. Her childhood dream was to be a Ruler, but she was a colossal failure. She's also a talented Ruler, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: She hates giants. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Seamstress arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
