He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Howard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Unemployed.

History: Grai hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Elven activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
