History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Thar was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature crossbow.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Dwarves.

History: Oriff was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: To be a Sellsword again; and a strong sense of loyalty to halfling people

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: Born in the west to a Courier, Veloptima learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has worked as a Courier like her mother before her.

Description: This man is bedraggled and starved. He wears a white vest and prefers black and brown shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His silver hair is matted, messy, and big. His blue eyes peer out from beneath his top white hat.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His homeland was ravaged by war and he spent much of his life rebuilding it. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Mercenary work with an outfit from a few towns over. Mercenary work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He struck the Mercenary job and began his own company from there.
