Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Kriv was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Expert, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Expert in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature kukri.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and someone believes him a fraud

Description: His left side is far more bruised and cut up than his other. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He has a dull look in his amber eyes.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Diggory was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Gynnie was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Gynnie and her spouse have recently divorced.
