History: Xappan lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Blacksmith they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Mayor, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. Cloud was born on a far western island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Cook. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
