History: Mreksh hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his 14th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: Born to a Scribe, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Servant kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
