Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Jeweler arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Ortegar was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He now mingles about in high society.

Description: He wears suspenders and white workpants. His shirt is grey, and he wears a heavy white leather apron most of the time, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 2'10" when asserting himself. His white hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a wide-brimmed hat. His green eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: He got into the Detective business at a young age. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and balancing his hectic life and new detective responsibilities is difficult

Description: This malnourished man wears a red shirt, with a white mid length shorts with white tights and flats, usually wearing a coat over them. His white hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He is baby faced.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the east were limited. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: He wears dark leathers with embroidery. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his bastard sword, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a cross on it. He sports a long auburn beard, and similarly colored long hair. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. His parents enrolled him in a Barbarian school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to raise his children well; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Description: 3'9" and muscular, this eastern woman prefers to wear brown clothing when she does not wear armor. Her black hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. Her skin is flawless and her amber eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Vonana is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Tabaxi activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Tabaxi doctor. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and wants to raise her children well
