History: Heskan was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

History: Thava hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In her 16th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Thava alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and she desires to right it.
