History: Born to a Shipwright, his father struggled to pay the bills. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Cressel fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Description: This man is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized sapphire on his left hand. His long auburn hair reaches down to his waist. His fierce hazel eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gilbert does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and money/treasure

Description: This fat northern man has a bulbous nose and wears long strands of sapphire and short white dresses (or suits) accompanied by the proper stockings and shoes, with gloves of varying lengths. His skin is also unnaturally pale. He wears his black hair down. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Guard business.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. Being a Guard kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. Rûg enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Rûg was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. His first spouse was a Guard, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: He would like to get married and retire; and wants his loneliness to end
