History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Balam grew up listening to his father's many stories. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Halfling companion (his 'brother'). Some 9 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Balam never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Description: She is a paragon of her species. She is larger and stronger than most Half-Orcs. Her skin is dark but she possesses many blue ritualistic tattoos. She wears a white costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on her torso. She is bald on top and has large brown tufts of hair around her ears. Her eyes are blue and she is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: She acts crazy and hedonistic. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Tagga was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature hand crossbow.

Description: He wears a worn and beaten armor. His attire stands in sharp contrast to his warhammer, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a skull on it. His brown hair is braided into rings. His skin is flawless and his brown eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Torz fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Fortune-teller. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: Akmen hails from a village terrorized by illithids. At some point he was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it
