History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Farmer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Adrie and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was raised in a mountains tribe. Through the years after Lone was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Lone's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shortspear.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: She was born into a rich family. The family's rival house kidnapped her sister with the intent that her sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She wants revenge against dire rats; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
