Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She will do just about anything if she becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this she is easily convinced.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Meriele was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. After coming to the age of reason, Meriele took it upon herself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage daughter.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
