History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has never given up on his painting dream.

The war was a terrible time for him, and Skamos does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Skamos hails from a village terrorized by brigands. He married young, but lost his spouse to brigands. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
