History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. History: Born to a Merchant, his father struggled to pay the bills. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Fabien fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. A gifted student he started as a Interpreter, but he got bored and became a Apothecary. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Apothecary for hire.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She is obsessed with her god.

History: Tordrid hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and her religion dominates her actions

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His first spouse was a Architect, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and regain custody of his son
