History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the north. While she appears to be a normal Dwarf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Hlin was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.

He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Gnomish doctor. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
