History: He was raised in a plains tribe. Scrag liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of dire rats once and for all.

History: Mara was born in the north. At a young age she loved to build and create. A gifted student she started as a Jeweler, but she got bored and became a Knight. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants revenge against dire rats.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact.

Description: Her left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise she appears quite healthy. She is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Masseuse. She has styled her golden hair well, parting it to the left. She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: She is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of her strength. She works very hard to maintain that gentleness. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way south. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Soapmaker and was forced into it by his family; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out
