She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Elven doctor. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Knight for the past few years.

Motivation: To unite with her brother; and she is terrified, and will act out of fear

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and she has money and likes to spend it

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bellfounder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: He swings through moods quickly. One moment he is cool and collected, the next he is carried away by passions. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Namfoodle grew up listening to his mother's many stories. A gifted student he started as a Marshal, but he got bored and became a Shoemaker. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature glaive.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural gnomish artifacts is his passion
