History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Patrin was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. History: He comes from a rich western family. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Ruler for hire.

History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. Her parents enrolled her in a Rogue school at a young age so that she could practice her divine talents. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She was born at the edge of vast forest. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: To end her boredom; and an old rival family wants her found
