History: She was born in a small island village. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered music. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Ethereal was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: When she was but 7 years old her parents immigrated from the south. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and obtaining odd cultural gnomish artifacts is her passion

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He has had some formal dancing training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it

Personality: This man loves poetry and to teach people poetry more than just about anything. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Revenge.
