Personality: Baradad hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his writing career. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Ruler work with an outfit from a few towns over. Ruler work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Dyer. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
