Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Aline will drive conversation. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. When Aline reached her early adolescence her Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Aline fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He worked as a nervous Painter and found it very stressful. He tends to his Painter job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Description: This late middle aged man wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his lance with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt and is in decent physical shape. He has a long chestnut beard with little hanging trinkets. His eyes are likewise brown. His teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Hupe embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: He was born in a small plains village. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He has achieved small success as a Engraver.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and to be a masseuse again
