Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. A gifted student he started as a Bowyer, but he got bored and became a Animal Trainer. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Cory never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
