Personality: Carlin speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. She is clearly well-traveled and educated. Carlin enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Carlin hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Her first spouse was a Fletcher, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. Herleva is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what she was had she not made sure her armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit she wears a grey vest and prefers black and red shirts. Her boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. Her white hair has been sun bleached extensively. She has a tattooed face.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her mother.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and retire the richest woman in the north

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with small hat. He has chestnut hair. His hazel eyes are desperate and heavily dilated. He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bookbinder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and to protect his home
