History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Emerald grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She now mingles about in high society.

Description: A well shaped woman just over fifty, she prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. She carries her fan with her everywhere and carries herself as the perfect lady. Her hair is cut close to her head. Her face possesses mild wrinkles. Her smile is extraordinarily sincere though she does not smile often.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Layabout. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She lacks moral complications. She does what she is told to by employers but not much else. She spends her money on whatever she fancies at the time.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Joan took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up sword and armor she uses now. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 10 years.

History: He was born in the north. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Sculptor. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
