History: He was born at the edge of vast island. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: This western man wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His clothes are grease stained in places. His purple hair is unkempt and raggedy. He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born in a small forest village. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: She is a Laborer first and foremost. She believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. A gifted student she started as a Locksmith, but she got bored and became a Laborer. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature kukri.

History: He was born in the north. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He found several beat up suits of armor and, cannibalizing spare parts, he put together a working one.
