History: The child of a Merchant, who enjoyed hunting, Nirgel was taken on many hunting expeditions. Nirgel was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Nirgel decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Carter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Rendar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She comes from a rich western family. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Halfling conditions. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
