Description: He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. His fur, while still mostly cinnamon, has prominent grey streaks. He wears large thick round spectacles.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Shifting lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Description: An older man who wears a blue vest and prefers green and brown shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down, he is not a threatening figure. His brown hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His eyes are gray and catlike.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His parents were killed by brigands in a raid when he was still a young child. The brigands captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

Description: This woman is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of her veins is visible when she is not flexing. Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. She keeps her long auburn hair kept up in a rat tail. Her green eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. Gaaki enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Gaaki was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gaaki fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.
