Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Gilkass hails from a village terrorized by goblins. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: Gifted from a young age, Engong studied abroad. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Bather and was forced into it by her family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bow.

Personality: She hates orcs. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: She comes from a rich western family. Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, orcs burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. She was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented her and her father from journeying west to reunite her family. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by orcs. Nikki was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the orcs.
