Personality: She goes out her way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one she won't accept into her heart. A true patriot, Ranala would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Description: This southern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. He has a long golden beard with little hanging trinkets. He has gleaming, smiling violet eyes.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Osco embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: She was born at the edge of vast desert. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Money/treasure.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes goblins are coming to abduct people. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Gifted from a young age, Anne studied abroad. Her psionic abilities were realized during a raid on her village. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Anne fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She hates orcs. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Ida was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She bought a greatsword and has really upped her game hunting, due to her understanding of decoy and ambush.
