History: Shane was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and doesn't want to be a spice merchant and was forced into it by his family

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Sannl was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
