History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: She wears baggy tan pantaloons and a violet scarf. Her hair is golden and very short. She has green eyes and a tan hat with a violet feather.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. The war was a terrible time for her, and Veloptima does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Gifted from a young age, Veloptima studied abroad. She found a children's book about a Gnome Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark.

Description: She is a small woman, but exceptionally fit. She wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. Her long lavender fur is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her green eyes are passionate and lively.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She disdains her fellow southerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.

Description: A 3'11" western man, he dresses in grey turtlenecks beneath a white coat with pastel slacks. His red hair and beard is wavy and long. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush.

Description: A pudgy woman standing about 5'7" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She wears an entirely brown suit with violet socks and a vest with buckled shoes. She wears her white hair up in a very large beehive style do. Her blue unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Cartwright. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She does not believe in violence as a means to an end. She is a dedicated Cartwright but believes her peers are too gung-ho.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Cartwright work with an outfit from a few towns over. Cartwright work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has never given up on her music dream.

Motivation: She feels threatened by others; and sabotage a competitor
