Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Gnomes.

History: Cumpen was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Personality: She is a sleazy, sleazy gal. She has no qualms about using her powers of suggestion to get people to do what she wants. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the north. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She was granted druidic powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To protect her home; and she wants to meet her childhood hero

He has the appearance of someone under the heavy influence of drugs.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He has all his life been fascinated with singing.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

Personality: Herleva is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Herleva grew up listening to her father's many stories. Herleva was born on a far northern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Dilettante. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sickle.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Dwarven artifacts is her passion; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
