History: Born in the north to a Mason, Kaladan learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Blacksmith, but he got bored and became a Mason. He has worked as a Mason like his mother before him.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Doctor.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Personality: He likes to make people angry or surprised. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Qualen was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
