History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Through the years after Zephan was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Zephan's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Zephan and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
