The war was a terrible time for him, and Grumbar does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When Grumbar reached his early adolescence his Half-Orc mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.
