When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

She found a children's book about a Tabaxi Warrior who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
