Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: Gurdis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Herbalist responsibilities is difficult; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
