Personality: She hates dire rats. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: A powerful wizard made her what she is. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Mella fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Eloise lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has never given up on her music dream.
