History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She invites people to come help in her community garden.

History: Sorath lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She now spends her time doing works of charity.
