History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Shivering fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Ahlyssa's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: She got into the Adventurer business at a young age. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Adventurer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Adventurer work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She has worked as a Adventurer like her mother before her.

Motivation: To be a Painter again; and balancing her hectic life and new adventurer responsibilities is difficult

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Emerald will drive conversation. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. In his 12th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Emerald alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of brigands

Personality: He is mildly Half-Elf supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

Motivation: To protect his home; and he would like to get married and retire
