History: Vadania hails from a village terrorized by brigands. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Barrister work with an outfit from a few towns over. Barrister work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. Being a Barrister kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.
