Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Symma grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Symma. She now mingles about in high society.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the south. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
