History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her first spouse was a Fletcher, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Miles lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature falchion.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His hair is short and black. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Miles embodies much of what other species detest in the Half-Elves. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Miles fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and expand his business

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. Through the years after Cloak was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Cloak's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and to reunite with his old friends
