Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Valanthe abandoned her home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. She survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. She did whatever it took for her to survive. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: Jo hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her painting career. She is underhanded and not above using her wealth and body to get others to do her bidding.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He now owns his own business.
