History: Ovina was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and a rival would like her out of the picture

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Jade's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
