History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and he desires to right it

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: Qualen was born the youngest of three triplets. The family's rival house kidnapped his sister with the intent that his sister marry their son to gain control of contested properties. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter.

Description: She is a pot bellied southern woman with a big hulking figure and broad shoulders. She wears a shirt and pants that are bristling with pockets overflowing with maps, compasses, and other navigational equipment. Her hair is chestnut, silky, and of moderate length. She has green eyes.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Mayor business.

History: Aline was born with her father's beautiful face. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Jo has worked very hard to control her curse. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Motivation: She has a rivalry with the Church that dominates her actions.
