Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his father's willingness to do anything to win. Being a Herbalist kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Barrister hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside her partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Glassblower. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Thodris alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and many giants want her driven away

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Beatrice will drive conversation. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: A powerful brothel owner made her what she is. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She now mingles about in high society.
